From the Eggishorn lift station, we kicked off our adventure on a trail circling the impressive structure of Eggishorn. With the mountain standing tall above us, é our journey unfolded to reveal breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier. This hike, lingering on our must-explore list, totally blew us away. The area offers tons of cool trails, leaving us pumped to come back for more. Each trail has its own charm, promising awesome views of the glacier and the most amazing mountain peaks.


Spending hours hiking to soak in the unmatched beauty of the Aletsch Glacier totally made our day! Stretching about 23 kilometers (around 14 miles), the Aletsch Glacier wows as the longest glacier in the Alps. The Aletsch arena feels like a peaceful escape, inviting adventurers to climb higher peaks and get lost in a whole new world. Here, where glaciers melt into the land, the scenery gives us a sense of freedom and wonder, showing off Earth's greatness and the magical hug of Mother Nature.


As we conclude our adventure, it's impossible not to reflect on the significance of the Aletsch Glacier, it stands as the longest glacier in the Alps, captivating all who lay eyes on it. Beyond its sheer size, the Aletsch Glacier holds immense ecological importance, serving as a vital water source and a barometer of climate change.
